Join our client, a professional and internationally active meat processing company, specialising in high-quality fresh meat products, "ready to cook" meals, and specialty items. They are currently seeking a skilled Reach Truck Driver to join their logistics team in Best.

Role & Responsibilities

As a reach truck driver, you will be in charge of:

• Operating a Reach Truck safely within the warehouse environment
• Efficiently moving pallets to assigned destinations to maintain production flow
• Working in temperature-controlled environments, including fresh (-2/+2°C) and freezer (-15/-20°C) zones
• Ensuring that your working area is clean and organised.

Note: Freezer employees receive a 15-minute break every hour

The salary for the role is €16.02 per hour (includes 14.79€ + 8,33% holiday allowance), with the wages being processed and paid weekly.

The Work schedule is from Monday through Saturday with two shifts (05:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00).

Apart from the salary, there are also shift bonuses (Monday – Saturday: +15% and Sunday: +100%), along with overtime pay (38–40 hours: +25% and above 40 hours: +50%).

Due to the working conditions, there's also Cold Environment Allowance (+€2.10 per day for working in fresh or freezer departments).

Transportation is free of charge as the client provides bicycles for distances under 10 km or company cars for longer commutes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in driving reach trucks
• Safety shoes are required (your own or company-provided)
• Specialised freezer workwear (provided by the company)
• Ability to work comfortably in cold environments, ranging from fresh (-2/+2°C) to freezer (-15/-20°C) temperatures
• A strong commitment to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of steel-nosed safety shoes
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system (morning and afternoon) and availability for Saturday shifts
• A professional attitude and the ability to maintain pace in a busy warehouse environment
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
