The client is one of the best-smelling, cleanest, and friendliest large-scale cookie manufacturing environments in the Netherlands! Operating in a spacious facility where everyone knows each other, Merba offers fantastic opportunities for long-term employment and direct company contracts for dedicated workers who perform well.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

General Production & Packing:

• • Stacking boxes and packing cookie boxes into cartons.
  • Making mixed boxes (assembling 3 different cookie boxes into combined mixed boxes, supported by automated robot lines).
  • Cleaning the factory floor, packing lines, and baking lines.

Heavy Production Tasks:

• • Adding ingredients to dough batches.
  • Cleaning industrial mixers and mixing materials.

Shift System (3-Shift Rotation):

• • Morning Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
  • Night Shift: 22:00 – 06:00 (Weekly cycle runs from Sunday night 22:00 until Friday night 22:00).

Breaks: Includes an 18-minute and a 30-minute break (walking time to and from your workstation is included within these break minutes).

Shift Allowances:

• • 06:00 – 06:30: 39% allowance
  • 18:00 – 03:00: 38% allowance

Overtime: Ranging between 135% and 245% depending on the specific day and timing.

Food Safety Certification: Candidates must pass two English-language food safety tests:

• • Level 1: Deadline by Wednesday at 12:00 in your first work week.
  • Level 2: Deadline by Wednesday at 12:00 in your second work week. (Passing these exams is mandatory to remain on the plan).

Workplace & Hygiene Rules:

• • No jewelry, piercings (including tongue), watches, or nail polish permitted.
  • Mandatory S3 safety shoes.
  • Personal clothing must consist of tight or closed trousers (clothing with rhinestones is strictly prohibited).
  • Hairnet, beard net (if necessary), and white jacket provided on-site.
  • Nut-Free Policy: Bringing peanuts or products containing peanuts for lunch or snacks is strictly forbidden.
  • Hot/cold drinks (coffee, tea, soup) are free (paid via Dutch bank card for catering options).

Candidate Requirements

• Clothing: You must wear long trousers and closed shoes. No jewelry, false nails, or eyelashes are allowed in food production!
• Mindset: Reliable, motivated, hardworking, and eager to secure long-term career stability in a friendly team environment.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common areas (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner.
