Are you ready to work with real heavy-duty metalwork? At VDL Staalservice in Weert, you'll operate advanced press brakes (Darley and Bistronic) to bend steel plates up to 7 meters long with 800 tons of force. Your work will contribute to key components used in the construction, offshore, and heavy machinery industries.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Darley and Bistronic press brakes
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide the bending process
• Work with Delem controls, either programming or basic operation
• Inspect measurements and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team

What You Bring

For Entry-Level Candidates:

• Basic technical understanding and strong motivation to learn
• Metalworking experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to participate in internal training

For Experienced Operators:

• Proven experience in press brake bending/forming
• Familiarity with large machines (up to 800 tons)
• Ability to work independently from technical drawing to finished product
• Knowledge of materials, bending radii, and plate thicknesses
