Job Overview & Responsibilities
As a production worker at Cytiva, you will assemble intricate products for the medical and biomedical industry. This requires precision, patience, and fine motor skills:
- Assembling high-precision medical and biomedical products, functioning as a "puzzle" where following manuals accurately is essential.
- Working in a specialized cleanroom environment, which requires wearing a complete protective suit (including goggles, rubber gloves, surgical mask, and special undergarments) to prevent contamination.
- Standing behind a workbench for the duration of your shift.
Employees will work in a 2-shift rotating system that switches every other week:

- Early Shift: 06:00 – 15:00
- Late Shift: 15:00 – 00:00
There are two 40-minute breaks total (30 minutes unpaid, 10 minutes paid to account for clothing change procedures).
Day 1 begins with an intake session, facility tour, and general orientation. Following successful completion, a 2-week training period commences (paid starting from training day), after which you transition into the cleanroom.
In addition to the gross hourly wage, employees receive:
- Cleanroom allowance: €3.35 gross per worked day, for working inside the cleanroom environment (compensating for the specific clothing/change process).
- Shift & Evening Surcharges: 25% addition for evening hours worked between 18:00 – 00:00.
Overtime Rates:

- Exceeding 40 hours/week (06:00 – 20:00): 125%
- Exceeding 40 hours/week (20:00 – 24:00): 150%
- Exceeding 40 hours/week (24:00 – 06:00): 160%
- Exceeding 10 hours per day: 150%
Requirements
- Physical & Environmental Readiness: Able to stand for an 8-hour shift, lift materials, possess good eyesight, and comfortably wear full cleanroom protective gear (suit, goggles, mask, gloves). Excellent personal hygiene.
- Motivated, quality-driven, patient, disciplined, accurate, responsible, a team player, open to feedback, and willing to learn/develop.
- Fine motor skills; ability to focus and read instructional drawings/manuals. Basic computer skills are considered a plus (PRE).
- Strict Adherence to Personal Hygiene Standards: No make-up, jewelry, nail polish, or fake nails/eyelashes.
- Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share a common area (kitchen, bathroom).
