Our partner SIF company is looking for candidates for Milling operator's position.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with unique milling machines designed specifically for Sif, processing massive steel plates up to 42 tons and 27 meters long.
• Input programs into the automatic milling machines for pre-processing steel plates used for wind turbine foundations.
• Monitor the quality and precision of the machining process, performing quality controls and solving any issues that arise.
• Perform daily maintenance on milling machines.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of operators, technicians, and quality controllers to meet the highest standards.
• Receive extensive training on the job, especially for using the specialized milling machines at Sif.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in metalworking, CNC operation, machining, or related fields.
• Mechanical skills and the ability to operate, maintain, and repair machines and tools.
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hand cutting tools and understanding of tolerances.
• Good approach to work, readiness to learn, loyalty to the company other soft skills as flexibility, drive, motivation, and ambition.
• Precision and attention to detail.
• VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English (can be arranged through HOBIJ if needed).
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and complete a paid training period before starting work.
• Willingness to perform an online game-based assessment during the recruitment process to evaluate your cognitive and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in a long-term role with growth potential, possibly relocating to the Netherlands in the future.
