As a Field Service Mechanic, you will work directly on-site at client locations and be responsible for executing technical work during renovation and maintenance projects. Your work is varied, hands-on, and operational.

Your responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and renovating air treatment and air handling installations
• Working on-site at locations such as hospitals, universities, hotels, and large utility buildings
• Carrying out project-related tasks independently or as part of a team
• Working according to safety and quality standards

Junior candidates will start as Assistant Mechanics and begin with basic tasks such as:

• Cleaning installations
• Removing and replacing filters

Through on-the-job training, junior employees can grow into fully qualified field service mechanics.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and technically minded candidate who:

• Has similar experience (at least 2 years)
• Is practical, hands-on, and solution-oriented (“two right hands”)
• Has an affinity with technology
• Experience with carpentry is a plus
• Is flexible in working hours (no 9–5 mentality)
• Is service-oriented, proactive, and reliable
• Can work independently and in a team
• Has a VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one

Relevant backgrounds:

• Mechanics
• Junior or experienced car mechanics
• Technical professionals looking to grow in field service

Working Conditions

• 40 hours per week
• Mainly day shifts
• Possibility to work overtime
• Projects throughout the Netherlands
• Travel time: first 30 minutes unpaid, travel beyond 30 minutes is paid
• Both men and women are welcome

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary — from €600 net per week
• Overtime pay:
  • First 2 hours: 125%
  • More than 2 hours: 150%
• Due to overtime and allowances, net salaries are attractive
• Travel allowance for private car: €0.21 per km
• Single room in a typical Dutch house provided
• Working clothes and safety shoes provided
• Transport: bike or car
• Training on the job, including VCA certification if needed
