VSDV, in cooperation with Lidl and Jumbo, is seeking motivated and reliable CE-licensed truck drivers for distribution routes across the Netherlands. You will operate from the Distribution Center ensuring timely and safe deliveries to Lidl/Jumbo stores using modern and well-maintained vehicles.

As a CE Truck Driver, you’ll begin your day between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM at the distribution center. You will make 2–3 delivery runs per day, stopping at multiple retail locations. Deliveries are made using an electric pallet jack for loading and unloading. Your day typically ends between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to Lidl/Jumbo stores across the Netherlands.
• Perform up to 5 routes per day with multiple drop-offs.
• Load and unload cargo using electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain communication and punctuality throughout the route.
• Occasionally work weekends.
• Share trucks with other drivers, if required.

Job Requirements

• Valid CE driving license.
• Valid Code 95 certificate from your home country.
• Willingness to share trucks and work flexible shifts.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience as distribution driver in the Netherlands preffered.
• Friendly, punctual, responsible, and team-oriented.

Work Conditions

• Working Hours: Average of 55 hours per week.
• Shift Options: Customizable (day/night/weekend preferences negotiable).
• Workload: Moderate to heavy physical work.
• Environment: Modern trucks and a structured onboarding process.

Compensation & Benefits

• Gross hourly rate: €18.71 – €20.24 (depending on experience and shifts).
• Net weekly salary: €675 – €875
• Contract: Initially temporary, with the opportunity for a permanent position or direct hire by the client based on performance.
• Shift allowance included in salary.
• Transport: Private transport preferred. Optional (E)Bike depending on distance to the job.
• Workwear: Safety shoes provided by the agency; workers must bring their own work clothing.

Training & Onboarding

Selected candidates will:

1. Be screened based on license, experience, and language skills.
2. Complete a skills assessment (driving behavior, communication, punctuality).
3. Join a 3-day onboarding at VSDV with an experienced driver to practice:
   • Docking and trailer swapping.
   • Driving and safety routines.

Successful completion leads to a long-term contract.
