Mercuur Smart Logistics is a specialized logistics service provider focused on high-value and temperature-sensitive products such as flowers, plants, mushrooms, and chilled meals. Ensuring quality and timely delivery is essential to their service.

We are currently looking for experienced CE truck drivers. As a driver, you will be responsible for the loading, transport, and unloading of goods across various locations, including growers, nurseries, distribution centers, and retail stores. The job includes both single-day and multi-day trips, with flexible working schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using a pallet jack or forklift
• Secure cargo in the correct sequence for unloading
• Drive and maneuver trucks in both local and international routes
• Operate temperature-controlled systems between 5–15°C
• Complete and verify transport documents and freight papers
• Communicate with planners, clients, and warehouse staff
• Follow fuel-efficient driving methods and safety regulations
• Handle return packaging correctly and maintain vehicle cleanliness

Requirements

• CE driving license and valid Code 95 (must be valid in the home country)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in international transport
• Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one via TAU
• Experience with chilled/frozen transport and technical truck knowledge
• Familiarity with transport documents and basic logistics administration
• Candidate must be comfortable with physical tasks such as stacking and loading and ready to spend night in the truck
• Flexibility reg. working hours — possible night shifts

What We Offer

• Net salary between €700 – €850 per week (based on experience and driving license)
• 52-hour work week on average (possibility to work 4 x 10–11 hour days)
• Flexible working schedule and shift preference
• Day shift: 04:00–06:00 to 15:00–17:00
• Night shift: 16:00–18:00 to 04:00–06:00
• Overtime possible depending on workload
• Temporary contract with potential for permanent employment
• Free safety shoes provided; bring your own work clothes
• Housing support (single room) available
• Transport support for up to 2 months; bike/e-bike for nearby locations
• Travel allowance for drivers with their own car (€0.21/km)
