For our client, we are looking for butchers with experience to join their team in the Netherlands!

Main Responsibilities

• Bone, edge, and cut carcasses of pigs, cows, and chickens using knives and saws;
• Use various techniques to remove bones while minimising waste and damage to the meat;
• Inspect the products and report any inconsistencies or defects;
• Spend about 80% of your time portioning the meat and 20% boning;
• Work mainly in a cold store without customer interaction, though you may occasionally assist at a customer-facing shop, working in the back;
• Other related tasks.

The starting salary for this position is an hourly rate of €13.68 to €15.00, depending on your previous experience. Weekly hours range between 36 and 45 hours, with the possibility of weekend work, particularly on Saturdays, depending on the schedule. There is also the potential for reassignment to another job after this role, subject to client agreement.

Requirements

• Good physical condition is required;

• The job must be completed to the client’s satisfaction;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay longer in the Netherlands.

You must wear long trousers and closed shoes, and no jewellery or false nails/eyelashes are allowed in food production!
