Are you skilled in grinding and have a keen eye for detail? Join Sif as a Grinder, where you’ll play a crucial role in the manufacturing of offshore foundations for wind turbines. As a Grinder at Sif, you’ll play a pivotal role in the production process, ensuring all components meet high standards. You will follow detailed instructions and drawings, work with large steel plates up to 27 meters long, and maintain precise, organized work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grinding tasks following specific drawings and instructions.
• Check equipment and materials for quantity and damage.
• Set up and operate electric tools and grinders safely.
• Maintain accurate records by registering and scanning your work.
• Conduct quick checks for safety before starting each task.
• Ensure a clean, organized workspace and well-maintained tools.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of hand grinding or relevant metalworking experience.
• Certifications:
• VCA Basic certificate (Dutch or English) or willingness to obtain it.
• Scissor lift certification for Maasvlakte location (training can be arranged if needed).
• Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, interest in long-term employment, and comfort in a multicultural work environment.

Company Offers

• Salary range: 14.03 – 18.42 EUR gross/hour, makes net approximately from 450 eur net/week when working on day shift (3 working shifts)
