About the Role

This is a dual-responsibility role combining skilled production line operations with internal logistics. You will be fully trained in the art of modern cheese making, quality standards, and machinery operation, while also utilizing your reach truck expertise to keep the warehouse and production lines seamlessly supplied.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Learn to confidently set up, operate, and monitor various automated and semi-automated packaging and production lines.
• Logistics & Material Handling: Transport heavy cheese boxes and materials safely through the facility using a reach truck.
• Quality Control: Inspect the cheese products for visual flaws, consistency, and overall quality, developing deep product knowledge over time.
• First-Line Maintenance: Monitor machinery, identify operational malfunctions early, and learn to resolve basic technical issues independently.
• Manual Production: Assist with essential physical tasks, including the traditional turning of cheeses to ensure proper aging, as well as manual packaging and sorting.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain an immaculate, food-safe work environment and strictly adhere to strict health, safety, and hygiene standards.

The role offers a premium hourly rate of €17.20 gross per hour. You can boost your earnings with extra paid allowances for any working hours falling outside the standard 07:00 – 20:00 window (applicable to early morning and late evening hours).

There's also extensive on-the-job training covering automated production lines, quality control, and food safety standards.

Furtnermore, you have opportunities to transition into long-term, permanent cooperation with potential paths toward a line leader or technical operator role.

Requirements

• Certifications: A valid Reach Truck Certificate is a strict requirement for this position.
• Language Skills: Advanced, fluent proficiency in English is required for safety protocols, machine settings, and clear team communication.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical, manual labor, including lifting and turning heavy cheese products.
• Mindset: A proactive learner with a strong technical interest in troubleshooting machinery and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Accommodation: Willingness to live in a shared room and share common residential areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
