For a long-term industrial project in the Rotterdam area, we are currently looking for experienced Pipe Fitters (Workshop/Prefabrication).

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting isometric drawings
• Assembling and tack welding pipe packages according to isometric drawings and sketches
• Working with different kinds of pipes, pipelines, and piping systems for industrial or shipbuilding purposes
• Cutting, grinding, sawing, and preparing materials using hand tools and machinery
• Performing tack welds (final welding is carried out by the welding department)
• Working with carbon steel and stainless steel materials

Pictures of the required tasks can be shared to provide a clearer understanding of the work involved.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter
• At least 1 year of workshop prefabrication experience
• Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
• Experience with tack welding
• VCA Basic Safety certificate (mandatory, or willingness to obtain before starting)

Working Conditions

• Working days: 5 days per week
• Working hours: 8 hours per day (overtime may apply depending on project needs)
• Holidays: In agreement with planning (approximately every 3 months)

Salary and Benefits

• Net salary €700 per week (based on 40 hours, depending on experience and certificates)
• Additional €1.25 per hour reserved (paid out when taking leave)
• Accommodation provided (private bedroom)
• Weekly payments (every Wednesday)

Additional Information:

• Travel from home country: at employee’s expense
• Travel to work: €0.23/km if using private car, or company car provided at no cost
• Private health insurance (optional): €38 per week via Holland Zorg

Work takes place in an industrial environment where exposure to currents, liquids, and potentially explosive substances may occur.
