Job Overview & Tasks Description

You will be working at a large logistics and distribution hub supporting European and global distribution flows.

• Core Duties: Order picking, packing, sorting goods, and placing them into correct locations.
• Workflow: Working primarily at a conveyor belt to collect correct products and place them in trays, or taking products out of trays to neatly stack them onto pallets.
• Physical Demands: Boxes can weigh up to 25 kg; a good physical condition is necessary.
• Growth Opportunity: Following a positive six-month evaluation, Katoen Natie offers the possibility to learn how to operate a forklift (heftruck), reach truck (reachtruck), or combi truck.

Working Hours, Shifts & Financials

• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Shift Schedule: Rotating morning and late shifts:

• • Morning Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
  • Late Shift: 14:00 – 22:00

Shift Allowance: 7.5%

Overtime: Available (paid at 150%)

Meal Vouchers: €8.50 per worked day (of which €1.09 is taxed)

Transport: Agency car options available, subject to mobility possibilities.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Work Experience: Prior experience as a picker-packer using a scanner is required.
• Technical Skills: Ability to work with a scanner. Prior experience operating an EPT, forklift, combi truck, or reach truck is considered a strong plus.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share a common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
