Van der Griend is looking for an experienced and motivated Industrial Painter / Spray Painter to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint, coating, and lacquer systems to a variety of metal surfaces. You play a crucial role in the final appearance and quality of projects ranging from commercial vehicles and trailers to industrial machinery and equipment. Precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this position.

What You Will Do

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, degreasing, and masking
• Apply paint, coatings, and lacquer systems using professional spray-painting techniques
• Work with different coating systems according to project specifications
• Inspect finished work for quality, coverage, and color accuracy
• Ensure correct color matching according to customer requirements
• Maintain painting equipment and spray booths
• Keep the workplace clean, organized, and safe
• Follow quality and safety procedures at all times

Salary & Benefits

• Hourly wage: €17.00 – €18.00 gross per hour

Requirements & Profile

• At least 1 year of experience as an Industrial Painter, Spray Painter, or Automotive Body Shop Painter (in last 3 years)
• Knowledge of surface preparation, painting processes, and spray-painting techniques
• Experience with spray-painting equipment; experience with 2K paint systems and spray booths is an advantage
• Background in metal industry painting or vehicle refinishing is preferred
• Ability to work accurately, independently, and safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Responsible, reliable, and professional attitude
• Motivated to continuously develop and improve technical skills
