Do you have at least two years of experience as a housekeeping superviser? If yes, and are on the lookout for a new challenge, join our client's team at an Amsterdam Hotel.
Role and Responsibilities
As a supervisor, your key duties will be:
- Managing the housekeeping department.
- Cleaning rooms and hallways.
- Focus on tasks like mopping and vacuuming the bathroom or stripping and making the beds.
- Team Leadership
- Training housekeepers on all cleaning and maintenance tasks, safety protocols, and company standards.
- Conducting regular, thorough inspections of all guest rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Organizing employee shifts, monitoring staff attendance, and arranging for replacements in cases of absence.
The salary for the role is €17.95 gross per hour (benefits included, with an approximate workload of 38 hours per week, in two shifts (one starting at 06:45 AM and the other 15:00 PM). This is a long-term opportunity and candidates are welcome to start as soon as possible. The accommodation is arranged in a staff house with other employees (single room).
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
- Ready to start work ASAP
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a small team.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes.
- Physical fitness to handle a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for early and late shifts.
- Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
- Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
