We are looking for a motivated Container Inspector to join an international logistics company in the Port of Rotterdam. This is a great opportunity for candidates with administrative or logistics experience who enjoy working in a dynamic environment where accuracy, teamwork, and customer service are essential.

As a Container Inspector, you will be responsible for controlling the flow of containers entering and leaving the depot. Your work will combine operational inspections with administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient depot operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Welcome truck drivers and perform gate access control.
• Process administrative tasks related to container movements, documentation, and invoicing.
• Inspect containers for damage, cleanliness, and possible claims.
• Record inspection results accurately and follow company procedures.
• Cooperate with colleagues to ensure efficient depot operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous administrative or logistics experience.
• Experience with logistics or administrative software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• VCA Basic certificate is an advantage.
• Willingness to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

What we offer:

• Salary: €18.18 – €20.65 gross per hour, estimated neto salary after all deductions €540–€600 (depending on experience).
• Two-shift schedule, Monday to Friday:

  • 13:45 – 22:00
• Shift allowance.
