We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Shift Leader to join a growing company in the food distribution industry located in Spijkenisse. In this role, you will combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on warehouse activities, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, safely, and according to schedule to deliver customer orders on time.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse employees while maintaining a positive working atmosphere.
• Operations Management: Coordinate daily warehouse operations, assign tasks, and supervise the receiving, storage, and movement of goods.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor productivity, quality, and operational efficiency while identifying operational challenges and suggesting improvements.
• Hands-On Support: Support order picking, packing, and shipping activities, working alongside your team whenever necessary.
• Safety & Organization: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with company standards.

• Salary & Benefits: Competitive monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,600 based on experience, plus applicable shift allowances.

Candidate Requirements & Preferences

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment; previous experience supervising or leading a team is an advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and capability to remain calm under pressure.
• Mindset: Responsible, proactive, positive attitude, and a strong hands-on mentality with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
