Lion Stone, founded in 1995 and based in Tilburg, the Netherlands, is a leading specialist in natural stone and composite processing. The company provides custom-made solutions using advanced technologies to cut, saw, and finish materials such as marble, granite, and composite. Typical projects include marble bathrooms, granite pool surrounds, kitchen countertops, flooring, and façade cladding. Lion Stone also handles on-site installation for private clients and businesses throughout the Benelux and abroad.

As a Technical Production Employee, you will play a crucial role in the final stage of the production process. Your main tasks will include:

  • Polishing composite, marble, and granite worktops using hand tools and simple technical drawings
  • Ensuring a perfect finish — smooth, flawless, and ready for the customer
  • Acting as the final quality check before products leave the factory
  • Working closely with colleagues in the Production Department (Specials and Mechanical Departments) under the supervision of the team foreman

Training is provided on the job, so direct experience with stone is not mandatory.

Requirements

  • Ability to read 2D technical drawings
  • Handy with tools and equipment
  • Technically and spatially skilled
  • Detail-oriented, precise, and reliable
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Full-time availability (40 hours per week); willingness to make overtime
  • Experience with natural stone is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Organizational skills for managing inventory and workflows
  • Basic administrative ability to handle digital systems and order processing
  • Physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and packing
  • Reliability and punctuality

Working Conditions

  • Workplace: Inside a normal-temperature warehouse
  • Work impact: Normal
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday 07:15–15:45; Friday 07:15–14:30 (occasional earlier start at 06:00)
  • Workplace closures: Christmas and 2–3 weeks during summer holidays
  • Transport: (E-)bike (distance max 10 km)
  • Clothing: Work shoes (€25 contribution)
  • Training: Provided on the job.
