Your Responsibilities

• Deploy, test, and operate advanced harvesting robots at commercial greenhouse sites.
• Monitor robot performance and optimize system efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Collect performance data and prepare technical reports.
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve robot performance and reliability.
• Provide valuable field feedback that contributes directly to product development.

Requirements

• MBO+ level technical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with machinery, automation systems, robotics, or technical installations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and technology-driven equipment.
• Willingness to travel between greenhouse locations.
• Available to relocate to the Netherlands immediately.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Experience with CAD software.
• Knowledge of PLCs and industrial controls.
• Experience with sensors, electronics, or robotic systems.
• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Robotics Technician, Maintenance Engineer, or Automation Technician.
• Interest in greenhouse horticulture or agricultural technology.

Working Environment

You will work on-site in modern commercial greenhouses, where conditions are warm and humid. This is a hands-on role involving walking, standing, bending, lifting equipment (up to approximately 23 kg), and working closely with advanced robotic systems.
