The client has been an impressive European wholesaler for over 50 years, ensuring fresh fruits and vegetables are packed and delivered to supermarkets on time. Operating with the warm atmosphere of a family business, they employ over 350 permanent staff and prioritize

Available Positions & Responsibilities

Role Focus: Sorting and packing of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Key Tasks:

• • Placing and positioning vegetables or fruit into trays, nets, or other packaging to meet standards for weight, quantity, and appearance.
  • Ensuring a steady supply of packaging materials on the conveyor belt.
  • Manually filling packaging according to prescribed composition, weight, or quantity.
  • Inspecting products and removing defective or damaged items.
  • Applying labels manually in the correct position and placing packaged goods into crates.
  • Alerting the Machine Operator regarding poor product quality or machinery issues.
  • Performing scheduled cleaning tasks on machinery and work areas.

Expedition Employee

Role Focus: Preparing orders for shipment.

Key Tasks:

• • Gathering correct quantities and types of products using an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT).
  • Stacking crates of product onto pallets required for shipment.
  • Inspecting packaging for quality and weight, and arranging corrections if necessary.
  • Checking completed orders for accuracy, proper labeling, and pallet strapping.
  • Recording goods movements and completed orders via the scanning system.
  • Reporting stock shortages and incomplete orders to the working foreman.

Machine Operator

Role Focus: Overseeing and managing a production line for sorting and packing items like tomatoes, paprika, and other fruits.

Key Tasks:

• • Setting machine parameters properly for specific products and labels.
  • Maintaining smooth production line operations and executing simple troubleshooting/malfunction fixes.
  • Working hands-on along the line alongside team members.

Working Hours & Shifts

• Shift Rotation: Alternates weekly:
  • Week 1: 06:00 – 15:00
  • Week 2: 15:00 – 23:00 (extended until 00:00 on Thursdays and Fridays)
• Overtime: Opportunity to work extra hours on Saturdays during morning shifts.

Salary, Allowances & Benefits

Base Wage with performance growth steps up to €15.82).

• Machine Operator Start: €15.56 gross per hour (Scale B-0), scaling quickly up to €16.67 (Scale B-3) with experience.
• Forklift Drivers (with certificate): Start in Scale C-0 at €16.42 gross per hour.
• Holiday Money: 8.00% gross (calculated on normal hours) paid out weekly.

Allowances & Overtime

• Mon–Fri (06:00 – 19:00): 100%
• Mon–Fri (19:00 – 23:00): 125%
• Mon–Fri (23:00 – 00:00): 140%
• Saturday (06:00 – 15:00): 100% (Overtime after 38 hours: 135%)
• Saturday (15:00 – 23:00): 125% (Overtime: 160%)
• Sunday / Overtime: 200% to 235%

Working Conditions & Demands

• Attention to detail regarding product quality and personal hygiene.
• Physically active role involving handling/moving products and containers, standing with a slight bend, and occasional bending when stacking.
• Performing short-cycle, monotonous tasks at the pace of the conveyor belt.
• Working in a clean environment with environmental noise and temperature fluctuations (around 8–10°C).

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: Capable of standing for long periods, performing active physical tasks, and handling temperature fluctuations.
• A clean criminal record document or reference letter needed to apply for this position.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, motivated, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Teamwork: A proactive team player who can also work independently when required.
• Availability: Flexible and willing to work in shifts and adhere to scheduled production hours.
