Welder for Steel Structures (Process 135/136/138) (from €580 net per week) in Netherlands

Hakkers is a respected family-owned company with a long-standing history of nearly 145 years and around 150 employees. Based in Werkendam, the company features a modern headquarters, its own workshop, and harbor. Now run by the fifth generation, Hakkers is a leader in constructive hydraulic engineering. We work on a wide range of projects such as dredging, coastal defense, foundations, and structural waterworks for clients including Rijkswaterstaat, provinces, port operators, and water-related industries.

As a Welder at Hakkers, you will play a key role in the construction of diverse (hydraulic) steel structures. You will be responsible for welding both large and small structural components, meeting strict quality and safety standards in a range of welding positions.

You will work on impactful projects in a collaborative and professional environment, contributing to innovative, technically challenging water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• MIG/MAG welding of steel structures according to processes 135, 136, and 138
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Delivering high-quality welds in various positions and structure sizes
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional welder
• Certified in welding process 135/136/138
• Valid VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with (hydraulic) steel structures is a strong advantage
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team
• High regard for safety and quality
