The client in Leerdam is an internationally operating and leading manufacturer of nutritional food bars. With over 400 employees, the company serves customers worldwide and distinguishes itself through exclusive recipes for diet, sports, and functional food bars. About the Role

As a Mixer, you will be responsible for operating the cooking and mixing installations to produce semi-finished nutritional food bar products while ensuring strict quality, safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation Operation: Operate and perform daily maintenance on cooking and mixing installations to meet quality and quantitative requirements, complying with company, hygiene, BRC, IFS, and HACCP rules.
• Process & Quality Control: Monitor product quality and production processes, perform quality checks, and accurately record findings.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve minor technical issues and handle product switchovers smoothly.
• Maintenance & 5S: Keep the work environment and machinery clean, and audit areas in terms of 5S standards.
• Collaboration: Participate in SIC meetings and coordinate with Line and Slab operators regarding product quality.

Depending on the hall, employees work in a 3-, 4-, or 5-shift system, including weekends. Shifts run from 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00. The applicable shift system is determined upon starting work and cannot be confirmed in advance.

Requirements

• Experience in a production environment is mandatory;
• Due to food production regulations, no jewelry, fake nails, nail polish, or excessive makeup are permitted. Candidates must be informed of this prior to starting.
• Competencies: Accurate, flexible, quality-oriented, well-organized, stress-resistant, professional, and capable of working independently.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common areas (kitchen, bathroom).
