Are you a motivated C cat. truck driver looking for an active role in the heart of Amsterdam? Join our team at VSDV/PreZero, where you’ll be responsible for collecting and exchanging waste bins at businesses across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Begin work early (between 05:00 and 05:30)
• Operate a small Category C truck through the narrow and busy streets of Amsterdam
• Exchange full waste bins for empty ones at various commercial locations, including restaurants, pubs, offices, and hospitals
• Complete 25 to 35 stops per day
• Return to base to unload collected bins by the end of the shift (around 17:00)

This is physically demanding work and well-suited to individuals who are energetic and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional driving experience
• Valid Category C driver’s license
• Valid Code 95 certification (recognized from the home country)
• Willingness to share the truck with a colleague
• Social, customer-oriented, detail-focused, and physically fit
• Candidates must be dependable, physically able, and committed to long-term employment in a professional but friendly team environment
• Proof of Clean Criminal Record is mandatory due to collection locations including police stations and hospitals

Salary and Benefits

• Salary paid according to CE scale D – D3-D6: €16.64–€18.71 gross per hour
• Estimated net pay for 40 hours/week: €575–€650
• Estimated net pay for 55 hours/week: €675–€850
• Contract begins as temporary, with long-term employment potential based on performance
• Possibility of direct employment by the client after proven performance

Provided and Required Equipment

• Training provided at the agency's academy in Uden (assessment includes driving behavior, communication, punctuality, and damage checks)
• Onboarding includes three days of practice with an experienced driver
• Safety shoes provided; work clothes must be supplied by the candidate
• Private transportation preferred or an (e)bike (housing will be arranged nearby when possible)
