Have you ever wondered how high-quality glassware is manufactured and distributed worldwide? Here is your chance to find out! Our client is a major international production facility in Leerdam that manufactures premium glassware for top global brands, including IKEA.

We operate a state-of-the-art facility running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As a Packer & Quality Checker, you will work at a designated standing station alongside a friendly team of 1 to 3 colleagues. Together, you will ensure that every wine glass coming down the production line meets exact quality standards before it is packed and prepared for global shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control: Visually inspect glasses directly from the moving conveyor belt to ensure they meet strict retail requirements.
• Packaging & Palletizing: Safely pack approved glassware into branded boxes and stack finished boxes accurately onto transport pallets.
• Line Logistics: Monitor your station to ensure essential packing supplies (boxes, stickers, tape) remain fully stocked to avoid line delays.
• Team-Based Performance: Coordinate with your station partners to maintain a steady, smooth workflow and assist with lifting heavier boxes or moving pallets when needed.

The salary for this role is 15.43 euros per hour, gross. Starting from week two, you transition to the shift rotation and receive a flat +29% surcharge on every single hour worked—regardless of the time of day or day of the week. This boosts your standard hourly earnings to a highly lucrative €19.90 per hour!

Your first week includes a 4-day paid onboarding training program running on a standard day shift (07:30 – 16:15) at the base rate of €15.43/hour.

Your 1-hour daily break is fully paid and includes the 29% shift allowance.

You can also earn extra cash by opting to work on public holiday schedules.

The factory runs continuously. You will work on a highly predictable 6 days on, 4 days off rolling rotation, meaning your starting weekday shifts forward every week, resetting every 5 weeks.

You must be fully flexible to rotate through all three time slots:

• 2x Morning Shifts: 05:45 – 13:45
• 2x Afternoon Shifts: 13:45 – 21:45
• 2x Night Shifts: 21:45 – 05:45

• 21 Years & Older: €15.43 / hour
• 20 Years Old: €12.34 / hour
• 19 Years Old: €10.61 / hour
• 18 Years Old: €9.43 / hour

Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Comfort standing for the duration of your shift and working at a steady, efficient manufacturing tempo (the production lines run continuously).
• Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in a loud production hall (full ear protection is provided) and sharing close, cozy workstation spaces with your immediate colleagues.
• Safety First Mindset: Strict commitment to safety house rules, including wearing safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection. (Note: Earphones or personal headphones are strictly prohibited on the production floor at all times).
