Are you an experienced Plumber / Heating Technician with previous working experience in the Netherlands? Do you have good knowledge of plumbing installations, heating systems, and press-fitting systems?

For our client we are looking for skilled All-Round Plumbers to work on various installation projects throughout the Netherlands.

Depending on your experience and skills, you may work on residential construction projects, apartment buildings, commercial properties such as offices and hospitals, or swimming pool installations. Your work will involve installing water, gas, drainage, sanitary, and central heating systems. You will work with different piping materials and press-fitting systems, following technical drawings and installation specifications. You will usually work in teams of two, alongside other plumbers, electricians, ventilation technicians, and construction workers.

Main Responsibilities

• Installing hot and cold water supply systems, gas pipes, and central heating (CV) installations.
• Installing sanitary systems, including toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, and drainage systems.
• Installing underfloor heating, heat pumps, and rainwater drainage systems.
• Working with press-fitting systems such as Mapress, Uponor, and Geberit.
• Measuring, cutting, bending, and connecting copper, steel, and plastic pipes (PVC, PP, HDPE).
• Reading and following technical drawings and installation plans.
• Checking and testing installations to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Installing piping systems and prefabricated elements in new residential and commercial buildings.
• Depending on the project, performing installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance work on swimming pool systems.
• Working together with other technicians to complete installations safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Plumber / Heating Technician in residential or commercial installations.
• At least 1 year of previous working experience in the Netherlands is mandatory.
• Valid VCA Basic (SCC) safety certificate is mandatory. Candidates must already have this upfront.
• Practical experience with press-fitting systems such as Mapress, Uponor, and Geberit is essential.
• Proven experience installing plumbing, water supply, drainage, sanitary, and/or central heating systems.
• Experience working with different piping materials, including copper, plastic, and steel.
• Ability to independently read and understand technical drawings and installation plans.
• Ability to work independently and cooperate with other technicians.
• Experience bending copper pipes with a bending iron is an advantage.
• Previous BSN registration in the Netherlands is preferred.

Additional requirements depending on the project:

• Residential construction / tunnel construction: Previous experience installing piping systems and prefabricated elements on reinforced concrete floors is required. Candidates must be physically fit and able to work outdoors under time pressure.
• Commercial / utility construction: An aerial work platform certificate (scissor lift / cherry picker) is required.
• Swimming pool installations: At least 1 year of experience with commercial swimming pool installations and large flexible PVC, copper, and steel pipes is required. A Category B driving licence and knowledge of installation technology are also necessary.

Salary and Working Conditions

• Starting salary of €640–€680 net per week, depending on experience.
• Possibility of a higher salary after demonstrating suitability and skills.
• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, usually from 07:00 to 15:45.
• Possibility of overtime and weekend work, compensated at increased rates according to project conditions.
• Private bedroom provided in a shared house, usually with 3–4 other colleagues.
• Candidates arranging their own accommodation receive an additional €100 net per week.
• Company car with a fuel card available for work-related transport.
• Company car without private use is free; private use is available for approximately €40 per week.
• Candidates using their own car may receive a km allowance of €0.23/km, subject to transport arrangements.
• All necessary tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided.
• Assistance with BSN registration if required.
• Opportunity to work on different residential, commercial, and technical installation projects throughout the Netherlands.
• Start date by mutual agreement.
