Our client is a high-tech, industrial, family-run bakery that perfectly masters the balance between traditional quality and massive scale. Annually, they supply roughly 550 delivery addresses across the Netherlands and Belgium. At the moment, they are looking for order pickers to join their team.

About the Role

As an Order Picker, you will step away from basic line production and move into a dynamic logistics focus. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that thousands of freshly baked goods are accurately sorted, quality-checked, and staged correctly for massive daily transport networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Selection: Efficiently collect and compile the different components of specific supermarket orders.
• Quality & Labeling: Inspect the final product quality and ensure all outbound order pallets are accurately labeled.
• Transport Preparation: Stage and prepare completed orders for smooth loading and distribution.
• Inbound Logistics: Process incoming goods and raw ingredients into the warehouse inventory.
• Workspace Standards: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized work environment to satisfy strict food production standards.

This role offer an excellent base rate of €18.29 gross per hour, along with highly attractive shift allowances:

• • Monday to Friday:
    • 06:00 – 18:00: 100% pay (Base rate)
    • 18:00 – 00:00: 134% pay (Evening shift allowance)
    • 00:00 – 04:00: 137% pay (Night shift allowance)
    • 04:00 – 06:00: 134% pay (Early morning shift allowance)
  • Saturday:
    • 00:00 – 04:00: 137% pay (Night shift allowance)
    • 04:00 – 18:00: 134% pay (Daytime shift allowance)
    • After 18:00: 200% pay (Double time weekend premium)

You must wear long trousers and closed shoes, and no jewelry or false nails/eyelashes are allowed in food production!

Requirements:

• Language Skills: Good command of English (B1 level or higher) to coordinate safely within a diverse team.
• Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar order picking environments is a big plus.
• Mindset: A reliable, hard-working individual with a strong work ethic who can perform well independently.
• Shift Flexibility: Full willingness to work across a rotating 3-shift system.
• International Environment: Willingness to live, communicate, and work alongside multiple nationalities.
• Strict Food Safety Rules: Because you are working in high-standard food production, you must wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes. No jewelry, false nails, or false eyelashes are permitted on the production floor.
• Accommodation: Full willingness to live in shared agency housing and comfortably share common living spaces (kitchen, bathroom) with fellow international professionals.
