Van Schie Groep consists of four subsidiaries: Janson Bridging, HP Staal, Fontexx, and Van Schie. Within Van Schie, there are also additional divisions such as De Grondbank Mijdrecht and Van Schie Kraanverhuur.

In daily operations, the organization is commonly referred to simply as “Van Schie.” The company employs over 200 people working across a wide range of infrastructure-related projects — from engineering to construction, and from soil processing to repair work using recycled materials. For nearly 60 years, Van Schie has been designing, producing, and managing complete solutions within the industry.

As a MIG-MAG Welder (Bench Worker) you will be primarily responsible for welding and repairing heavy steel constructions. The company rents out large steel pontoons (1 mm to 15 mm thickness) and related equipment. These structures are frequently returned with damage and must be restored to optimal condition.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• No shift work

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with MIG-MAG welding (process 135)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
