The client operates within the cold chain logistics sector, specializing in the temperature-controlled storage, handling, and distribution of perishable goods. The company manages advanced cold-storage facilities operating at specialized low temperatures to maintain product freshness and quality, requiring precision, strict adherence to safety standards, and efficient order fulfillment.

Job Description

The position encompasses the entire range of tasks within the cold storage warehouse, such as:

• Order picking in cold environments (-20°C and 2°C).
• Scanning products using a handheld device (PDA).
• Moving pallets and operating machinery (80% order picking, 20% reach truck/EPT work).
• Maintaining smooth workflow and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Adhering to safety standards in cold-temperature working areas.

Work takes place between 09:00 and 18:00, providing a stable 40+ hours workweek.

In addition to the base gross salary, employees also get a 8.33% Holiday Allowance, and the following special rate multipliers:

• • Weekdays (21:00 to 05:00): 119% rate
  • Saturdays: 150% rate
  • Public Holidays: 200% rate

Additional Notes: Working in a multicultural team within a sector subject to seasonal market fluctuations.

Requirements

• Licenses: EPT and Reach truck license.
• Clean criminal record not older than 6 months from the home country (delivered before arrival);
• Preferred Skills: Previous experience with PDAs, overtime availability, and being physically apt and motivated.
• Mindset: Able to work both as a part of a team and individually
• Shifts: Willingness to work in different shifts if necessary
• Accommodation: Willing to share accommodation with other tenants
• Partner: Okay with working in different shifts than your partner (if you arrive and work together)
