We are looking for experienced Electric Vehicle Mechanics to join one of the largest public transport operators in the Netherlands. You will work with a modern fleet of electric buses and other company vehicles in Arnhem or Eindhoven, helping to keep public transport running safely and efficiently.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electric buses and other company vehicles
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components
- Perform inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
- Work closely with experienced colleagues and workshop supervisors
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on electric vehicles
- NEN 3140 or NEN-EN 50110 certification
**Experience working on electric buses is preferred.
**Experience with trolleybuses is a major advantage.
Mandatory but Possible to Obtain in the Netherlands
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) or willingness to obtain one
- Category D driving licence is preferred, or willingness to obtain it through the employer
- VCA Basic certificate is an advantage. If you do not have it, it can be obtained through the company
Knowledge of Polish is considered an advantage, as some technical documentation is available in Polish.
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of €20.28 gross per hour
- Approximately €700–€750 net per week (after all deductions), based on a 40-hour working week
- Full-time employment – 40 hours per week
- Free accommodation – private bedroom in a shared house
- Company car available for €84 per week, excluding fuel, parking and traffic fines
- Health insurance available for €38.02 per week, deducted from salary
- Salary growth based on experience and performance

Travel Cost Compensation
Candidates can receive up to €200 in travel cost compensation for their first arrival from their home country to the Netherlands.
The compensation is granted after one month of work and requires valid proof of travel expenses, such as:
- Flight ticket
- Train ticket
- If travelling by car – fuel receipts
Training & Development
Every new mechanic receives personal one-to-one coaching during the first period of employment.
If required, the company can also support candidates in obtaining:
- Category D driving licence
- VCA Basic certification
- Further professional development and additional qualifications
Working Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Saturdays are always free
- Sunday shifts may occur after gaining sufficient experience
- Working hours are scheduled between 04:30 and 17:00
