At De Haas Truck & Trailer Service, we are looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trucks and trailers, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and ready for the road. Your technical expertise will help us maintain our strong reputation for excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Your tasks will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in trucks and trailers
• Performing engine overhauls and repairs
• Repairing and maintaining brake systems
• Carrying out electrical diagnostics and repairs
• Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections
• Replacing worn or damaged components
• Ensuring all vehicles comply with safety standards and regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
• Working according to all applicable safety procedures

Requirements:

To succeed as a Truck Mechanic at De Haas Truck & Trailer Service, you should have:

• 5–10 years of experience as a truck mechanic
• A vocational qualification in automotive technology or a related field
• Strong knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance and repair
• Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Understanding of safety protocols and workshop regulations
• A proactive and responsible working attitude
