The client specializes in the processing and logistics of paper and paperboard, utilizing specialized machines to convert large industrial rolls of paper into sheets (including products for the food industry) before stacking, packing, and preparing them for transport.

Job Overview

The employee will work around two large paper cutting machines, maintaining alertness and initiative to keep the production process running smoothly.

Front of the Machine:

• • Position large rolls of paper in front of the machine using an electric pallet truck (EPT).
  • Remove damaged paper when necessary and connect/prepare new paper rolls for the machine.
  • Monitor the process and ensure continuous machine operation while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Back of the Machine:

• • Handle finished sheets of paper emerging from the machine and stack them on pallets.
  • Check and straighten stacks on pallets, then seal or wrap the finished pallets.
  • Complete finished orders in the computer system (using English) and prepare pallets for transport.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work takes place in a 3-shift system working 7.5 hours per shift while being paid for 8 hours.

• • Morning: 07:00 – 15:00
  • Afternoon: 15:00 – 23:30 (Friday until 20:30)
  • Night: 23:30 – 07:00 (cycle starts on Sunday night)
• Overtime/Weekends: Saturday work may be required.

Requirements

• Experience with an electric pallet truck (EPT) along with a valid EPT certificate.
• Forklift experience and valid certificate;
• Proactive and independent mindset with the ability to take initiative.
• Comfortable working around large industrial machinery in a noisy indoor environment (normal indoor temperature, not a cold warehouse).
• Basic computer skills and sufficient English proficiency for communication and operating the order system.
• Full availability for all 3 shifts, including Sunday nights and flexibility for Saturdays.
• Willing to share a room and accommodation with other workers.
