Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker at DPD, you will be responsible for the core task of parcel logistics:

• Loading and Unloading: Handling parcels received from individuals and businesses, reloading them to other destinations.
• Physically Demanding: This is physically very hard work. Parcels can be heavy, and you will often work with a colleague to handle the heaviest items.
• Work Environment: You will work in a brand new building with a friendly atmosphere and supportive colleagues.

The base Hourly wage for this role is €14.40 gross per hour with great shift allowances for night and evening hours (After 8:00 PM (20:00): +30% (€18.72 per hour), after Midnight (00:00 – 06:00): +45% (€20.88 per hour), and on Sunday +50% (Addition dependent on the shift time).

Overtime additions also apply from 115% to 165% depending on the day.

This is a role that requires flexibility, as employees will work in different shifts from Monday to Saturday.

• Shift 1 (Afternoon): 14:00 to 22:30
• Shift 2 (Evening/Night): 18:30 till 03:00 or 04:00
• Shift 3 (Night): 22:30 to 07:00

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Warehouse Worker is required.
• Flexibility: Must be flexible to work different shift schedules, including nights.
• Physical Condition: Must be physically fit for demanding work.
• VOG Required: A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required after 3 months of working.
