The client is a leading online catering wholesaler in the Netherlands, offering a massive assortment of over 50,000 products, A-brands, and quality own brands to catering businesses and healthcare partners.

Based on company needs, the candidate will be placed in one of the locations: Helmond, Geleen, or Goirle. The warehouses have 3 departments: warm warehouse, cold warehouse environment (cold +8 degrees Celsius), frozen (-22 degrees Celsius). All employees need to be ready to work across all departments.

Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Logistics Employee / Orderpicker, you will play a vital role in ensuring catering establishments receive their orders accurately and on time. Key duties include:

• Order picking using voice-picking or scanner systems as the primary task.
• Performing formation tasks during night shifts.
• Working across different temperature zones, including the freezer, cooling, and DKW (dry goods) areas.
• Overtime is possible, always in consultation with the employee.

Working Days are from Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday shifts available in consultation (40 hours per week).

• Shift Structures: Available across 2 or 3-shift systems depending on the location (Day, Evening, and Night shifts).
• Breaks: 1-hour break (not paid).

In addition to the gross hourly wage, you can get the following allowances and surchargers:

Temperature Surcharges:

• • Freezer surcharge: +€1.32 per hour.
  • Cooling surcharge: +€0.58 per hour.

Time & Shift Surcharges:

• • Monday – Friday (04:00 – 06:00): 125%
  • Monday – Thursday (19:00 – 22:00): 125%
  • Sunday – Friday (22:00 – 04:00): 150%
  • Saturday (00:00 – 14:00): 150% | (14:00 – 19:00): 175% | (19:00 – 00:00): 200%
  • Sunday (00:00 – 22:00): 200%

Accommodation & Transport per Location

• Helmond: Accommodation in Nistelrode; transport via car (~45–50 min).
• Geleen: Accommodation in Budel; transport via car (~45–50 min).
• Goirle: Accommodation in Tilburg; transport via bicycle (~17–20 min).

• Work Attire: Work clothes are provided by Bidfood after a qualifying period (approx. 2 months); candidates should bring warm clothing initially for cold/freezer storage environments.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience and motivation to work long-term are mandatory.
• Language Proficiency: A high level of English is required to use the voice picking system and pass the initial interview.
• Physical Stamina: Candidates must be prepared for physically demanding work and frequent lifting.
• Temperature Resilience: Ability to work in a cold warehouse environment (cold +8 degrees Celsius), frozen (-22 degrees Celsius)).
• Reliability: Punctuality and a serious work ethic are essential for the Monday start after a successful interview.
• Assessment: Candidates must pass a test and attend an introductory tour on-site before starting.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share a common area (kitchen, bathroom).
