The client proudly cultivates the finest vine tomatoes at their massive, modern greenhouse facility in Steenbergen. Spanning a total area of 17.6 hectares, the company harvests and packs more than 12 million kilograms of tomatoes annually. Duties & Responsibilities

As a Greenhouse Employee, you will support the entire lifecycle of tomato production. Your daily tasks include:

• Plant Care: Preparing the tomato plants for optimal growth.
• Crop Maintenance: Cutting leaves to ensure the plants remain healthy.
• Harvesting: Picking fresh vine tomatoes carefully.
• Logistics: Weighing the tomato boxes to prepare them for packing and distribution.
• General Duties: Handling other related agricultural and greenhouse tasks as needed.

Requirements & Working Conditions

• Language: A basic command of the English language.
• Experience: Prior experience in greenhouse work or agriculture is a big plus, though a strong willingness to learn is highly valued.
• Work Ethic: A hard worker who is reliable, focused, and physically fit.
• Environment: Comfortable working in an environment with high indoor temperatures. Please note that natural biological elements, including bees and other insects, are actively used inside the greenhouse for natural pollination and crop protection.
• Schedule: Expect plenty of working hours. Flexibility is required, as you will also work on Saturdays during peak busy periods.
• Couples & Friends: Pairs and couples are welcome to apply together. While shared accommodation can be arranged, please note that shift distributions, specific greenhouse rows, and daily task assignments are managed strictly according to KBB Holland's seasonal harvest priorities.
• Accommodation: Employees may have to share rooms with other tenants.
