Are you an experienced mechanic who enjoys working independently and solving technical problems on location? We are looking for a Forklift Mechanic to maintain, repair, and inspect forklifts and other internal transport equipment at different client locations. You will have your own fully equipped service van, plenty of independence in your daily work, and direct contact with customers. You will work for a family-owned company with more than 30 years of experience in forklifts and internal transport equipment. The company has a practical, down-to-earth culture with short communication lines and a strong focus on craftsmanship and personal attention.

As a Forklift Mechanic, you will be the technical point of contact for customers on site. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing maintenance and repairs on forklifts and internal transport equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and technical faults
• Troubleshooting and solving malfunctions independently
• Replacing defective or worn parts
• Performing safety inspections
• Making sure equipment remains safe and reliable
• Advising customers about the proper use and maintenance of their machines
• Traveling to different customer locations with a fully equipped service van
• Maintaining professional and friendly communication with customers

Your working days will be varied. One day you may handle a larger repair, while another day may involve routine maintenance, inspections, or troubleshooting smaller technical problems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a mechanic or in a relevant technical position
• Experience with forklifts, machinery, automotive, agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, or similar technical systems is highly relevant
• Good mechanical and technical knowledge
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems independently
• Customer-friendly and professional attitude
• Able and comfortable to work independently
• Practical, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset
