Panel builder (€525-€620 net/week) Venlo, in Netherlands

Job description

For our partner in the Netherlands, in Venlo, we are looking for experienced electrician-panel builder to join reliable and prosperous company. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling distribution panels, also known as distribution boards or distribution panels, used to distribute electricity from the main supply to various circuits or sections within buildings, installations, or industrial processes. They contain protective devices such as fuses, residual current devices (RCDs), and circuit breakers to manage and safeguard the power supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical distribution panels used to distribute electricity from the main supply to various circuits or sections in buildings, installations, or industrial processes.
• Create layout plans for electrical distribution panels based on customer specifications and industry standards.
• Source and procure components such as circuit breakers, relays, transformers, switches, and meters, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Perform thorough testing to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during assembly, testing, or installation efficiently.

Electricians should have their own hand tools with them: 

• Screwdriver set (isolated and undamaged)
• Nose/needle nose pliers (isolated and undamaged)
• Combination pliers (isolated and undamaged)
• Sidecutters (isolated and undamaged)
• Wrench (water) (isolated and undamaged)
• Automatic stripper
• Pipe Shears for 5/8 & 3⁄4 pipe
• Measurement tape
• Level
• Cable stripper
• Bending pipe for 5/8 & 3⁄4 pipe
• Bahco (adjustable wrench)
• Junior handsaw
• Hex key set
• Hammer 500 gram
• Elektromonteur
• Voltage tester
• Multimeter

You can use your private car for work, or rent an agency car for 50 EUR/weekly (200 EUR/ month). 

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience working as an electrician, with a strong focus on panel building;
• Own means of transport is preferred;
• Able to read technical drawings and good technical knowledge;
• VCA certificate is a plus;
• Already existing BSN number is strongly preferred;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.
