Our client, Swiss Sense, is looking for a delivery co-driver to join their team in Uden, the Netherlands!

Swiss Sense is a Dutch family-owned business headquartered in Uden. Over the last fifteen years, they have become a prominent organisation across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Denmark. With over a century of experience, they specialise in designing and producing stylish sleep systems, including beds and box springs. From their main office and warehouse in Uden, they manage distribution to customers throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and parts of Germany.

Main Responsibilities

• Checking cargo prior to departure;
• Engaging with customers on-site;
• Unloading and delivering products;
• Installing the sleeping system for customers;
• Completing the delivery of the sleeping system;
• Handling financial transactions upon delivery;
• Unloading returns and managing waste;
• Exercise patience and clarity in communication, especially when language barriers arise; use tools like Google Translate if needed to assist customers;
• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing provided branded shirts and work pants, with no personal sweaters or jackets visible when with customers;
• Other related tasks.

The starting salary for this position is between €14.38 and €15.00 gross per hour for individuals aged 21 and over. For 20-year-olds, the hourly rate is €11.05, and for 19-year-olds, it is €8.29. If you have relevant experience, your pay will be adjusted based on age and experience, up to a maximum of €15.00 per hour. This position offers a 40-hour workweek, a 50% overtime surcharge, and a quarterly bonus of up to €300.

Requirements

• CV in English is required to apply for this vacancy;
• Proficient in English or Dutch;
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting;
• Must have technical skills for assembling boxes and sleep systems, with training provided;
• Flexible with working hours and comfortable with early starts (between 5 AM and 8 AM);
• Customer-oriented and friendly;
• Representative appearance preferred, with well-groomed candidates encouraged; tattoos and piercings are allowed if presented neatly;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Availability to stay longer in the Netherlands.
