Our client has launched a brand-new Deposit Return (Statiegeld) department at their Tilburg facility!

This critical department handles the large-scale intake of empty recyclable cans and bottles returning from supermarkets, major festivals, and events.

This is a fast-paced, straightforward logistics role essential to the recycling and sustainability cycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Logistics Intake: Unloading arriving trucks filled with bulk bags of empty bottles and cans.
• Machine Operation: Transporting collection bags to specialized counting machines that verify deposit totals.
• Processing & Recycling: Monitoring the machinery as it automatically processes, counts, and prepares the materials for immediate recycling.
• Work Environment Maintenance: Ensuring the intake and machine areas remain organized and clear for incoming truck shipments.

The salary for the role is €14,99 gross per hour with full-time employment (Fixed Evening Shifts Available)

While the department operates on two shifts, the immediate priority is filling fixed evening shifts.

• Standard Department Hours:
  • Morning Shift: 06:00 – 15:00
  • Evening Shift: 15:00 – 00:00

Requirements

• Environmental Awareness: Because the role involves handling bags of empty beverage containers from events and stores, the environment can be messy and smelly. Candidates must be comfortable working under these conditions.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle, lift, and move large bags of recyclables continuously throughout the shift.
• Reliability: A proactive, hands-on work ethic to help launch this new department successfully.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner.
