Heinen & Hopman, a leading specialist in the maritime sector, is currently seeking ventilation fitters to join their team in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands. With a track record of providing high-quality air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and refrigeration systems for over 15,000 vessels worldwide, this is a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals in the HVAC field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow technical drawings and plans.
• Independently or collaboratively construct square and insulated round air ducts to meet project specifications.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the project.

What to Expect During Your First Week:

• Three days of training at the company’s training center to get acquainted with the tasks and work environment.
• Free accommodation, lunch, and beverages during the training days.
• €20 net per day for personal expenses during the first week.
• Assistance with obtaining a Dutch citizen number (BSN) and VCA safety course, if needed.

Requirements:

• CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• At least 1 year of experience in ventilation fitting or HVAC is mandatory;
• Demonstrable experience in mounting pipes and making complete installations;
• Experience working in shipyards will be considered a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings;
• Willingness to enhance your skills and commit to long-term employment;
• Willingness to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.

Salary:

• €540–€580 per week for experienced candidates.
• €580+ per week for candidates with multifunctional experience.
