We are looking for a motivated Team Leader to join a logistics team in Waddinxveen!

Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in the logistics process, including:

• Leading a team of approximately 15 employees.
• Creating the daily planning in collaboration with the Team Leader Assistant.
• Monitoring the logistic process and mapping out daily planning and staffing based on forecasts.
• Conducting team and evaluation meetings
• Working across different departments: ambient, fresh, and freezer areas, requiring flexibility and adaptability

The salary for the role is around €2,600/month or higher, depending on experience. There's also additional fresh and freezer allowances (+ 0,51 €/hour and +1.24€/hour, with the latter involving 15-minute breaks every hour).

Bonuses for Night/Weekend Shifts

Monday – Friday:

04:00-06:00: +25%

19:00-22:00: +25%

22:00-00:00: +50%

00:00-04:00: +50%

Saturday: +50%

Sunday: +100%

The workweek is from Sunday to Thursday with evening shifts from 17:00 to 02:00

Transportation to work is free of charge (either with company car or bicycle). Drivers with a license may be asked to drive the company car. Fuel, reparations, and insurance are covered by the company, Working clothes will also be provided. Safety shoes with a steel nose are required and can be provided by the company. A €35 fee applies if the employee leaves within 6 months.

Requirements:

• strong warehouse experience and proven team leader experience;
• Leadership and management experience with a team of approximately 15 employees.
• Strong skills in planning, staffing, and monitoring operational processes.
• Excellent communication for conducting meetings and effective team interaction.
• Flexibility to work in ambient, fresh, and freezer environments.
• Willingness to work the evening/night shift (Sunday – Thursday, 17:00-02:00).
• Possession of a valid driving license is beneficial (may be asked to drive the company car)
• Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
