Join a fast-growing and dynamic company in the waste management sector, based in Eindhoven. Our client controls the entire recycling chain—from waste collection to the production of new raw materials. This is hands-on, meaningful work that directly contributes to a greener planet.
The Role:
As a Recycling & Waste Sorting Worker, you’ll be part of a highly involved material recovery team. You’ll need to be flexible, physically fit, and ready to work both indoors and outdoors, in dusty and physically demanding conditions. Tasks include:
- Sorting construction, household, and electronic waste on a running line
- Separating and placing materials (wood, metal, plastic, cables, etc.) into the correct containers
- Loading bulky waste like microwaves into outside containers
- Disassembling electronics (e.g., TVs) using tools
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
Note that the salary for this role is €15.58/hour gross. This means that weekly net pay will vary between €400–600/hour based on working hours. In addition to this, the company provides holiday pay (10.5%)
This is not light work and candidates must be willing to do physically heavy jobs. Work conditions vary (heat, rain, cold); some roles are 93% outdoors. Job can be dirty, smelly, dusty, and physically intense.
Protective clothing is provided.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
- Shifts: 06:00–15:00 / 07:00–16:00 / 08:00–17:00
- 1-hour break daily (2×15 min + 1×30 min)
- Be on-site 15 minutes early each day
Requirements
- CV is mandatory to apply
- Reference or contact info from a previous employer is required
- Communicative English (or Dutch)
- Experience in physically demanding or outdoor work (a plus)
- No issues working in dirty, smelly, or dusty conditions
- Physically healthy — able to stand all day and work at a fast pace- No dust allergies
- Willingness to do various tasks (not limited to one type of work)
- Availability to stay in the Netherlands for a minimum of 6 months
