Reach truck driver with certificate (Freezer - 20 °C) Unknown, in Netherlands

Job description

Van Loon Group is a professional, internationally active meat processing company with offices in Best, Beilen, and Roosendaal. They offer a variety of fresh meat products, ‘ready to cook’ products, and delicious specialties.

They are currently looking for reach truck drivers to join the team! 

In this position, your main duties will include:

• Loading and unloading shipments;
• Ensuring relevant transport documents are used and being in charge of the incoming and outgoing of produced pallets;
• Operating a handheld scanner, palletizers, labelers, pallet warehouses, shuttle systems, racks, reach and forklift trucks, and pump trucks;
• Occasionally stacking boxes on the pallet manually, if necessary;
• Checking stocks;
• Exporting (unloading, storage) of the incoming goods (raw materials, packaging materials);
• Operating various tools and working both in the freezer and the warehouse;
• Other related tasks.

You will work Monday through Friday in three shifts. The working place is in the freezer (-20 °C), but the cabin in the reach truck is heated, and the company provides warm clothing. 

 Requirements: 

• A CV in English is required to apply for this position;
• A Dutch certificate is mandatory;
• Able to work independently;
• Responsible and motivated;
• Willing to work in a freezer;
• Willing to live and work with multiple nationalities;
• Available to stay longer in the Netherlands.

 Allowances: 

+ 2.10€ daily bonus for work in cold Over hours and temperature surpluses: M-F: 04.00-06.00h +17% 19.00-22.00h +17% 22.00-04.00 +35%: +80% on Sundays
