Join Hubers Lekkere Eieren B.V., a friendly family company in Ysselsteyn, and play a vital role in caring for their poultry and ensuring the quality of their egg production. We are looking for a dedicated and physically fit individual for a stable, long-term position.

Your Responsibilities

This is an essential, hands-on role focusing on the health and welfare of the hens and the efficient collection of eggs:

• Animal Care: Walking between the hens to monitor their well-being, ensuring optimal health and environment.
• Routine Checks: Regularly checking and ensuring the supply of water and food for the poultry.
• Egg Collection: Collecting all eggs, including "ground eggs" (eggs laid outside the nesting boxes).
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by performing general cleaning duties in the stables.
• Maintenance Support: Assisting other workers with, or fixing yourself, small technical problems that may arise.

Please note that the starting salary for this role is €14.40 gross/hour, but your hourly may reach €16.08 per hour. based on performance and suitability. This is a full-time job (38 hours per week), with opportunities for growth such as learning and participating in logistics work, such as checking and sorting eggs. Additionally, you also have the right for 5 weeks of holiday during the year (requests in consultation with the client)/

Job Requirements (The Must-Haves)

• Physical Condition: In good physical condition, as the job involves a significant amount of walking throughout the day when checking the hens.
• Driver’s License: A valid Driver’s License (Category B) is needed.
• Mental Conditions: Be friendly, proactive, and a team player.
