Job description

Heinen & Hopman, a leading specialist in the maritime sector, is seeking experienced plumbers to join their team in Oss, Netherlands. Known for their world-class expertise in air conditioning, ventilation, central heating, refrigeration, and mechanical ventilation, Heinen & Hopman has supplied over 15,000 vessels worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work on luxury yachts in a professional and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build piping systems for hot and cold water, sanitary systems, and drainage from technical 3D plans using a tablet.
  • Work with materials such as copper, PVC, and Mepla.
  • Measure, glue, and bend materials using a pipe bender by hand.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with other units as a united team to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • CV in English is required to apply, with previous work experience detailed.
  • At least 2 years of plumbing experience is mandatory, especially in the professional use of pipe benders.
  • Experience in bending copper pipes is required.
  • Experience working in shipyards will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings at a professional level.
  • VCA certification is needed (the agency can assist with obtaining it, with costs covered).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
  • Availability to stay in the Netherlands for a long-term period.
