You will work in a diverse international team of approximately 50 employees (both men and women) representing various nationalities, including Polish, Romanian, Dutch, Slovenian, and Latvian colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

• Core Tasks: Order picking in an extreme freezer environment at temperatures between -23°C and -25°C using a paper order list.
• Onboarding: During your first week, you will be personally guided and supported by an experienced colleague to help you get settled.
• Alternative Roles: If order picking is not the right fit, alternative positions within the freezer department may be explored.
• Work Nature: Physical work requiring a clear understanding of the low-temperature environment and a flexible mindset.

Shifts begin at 07:00. The workload averages around 40 hours per week, which can increase to approximately 50 hours during busy periods (especially in warm weather).

The workday concludes only after the final order of the day has been successfully completed. In principle, you will work every other Saturday. Flexibility and Saturday availability are required.

Lastly, new employees are expected to be available to work during the Christmas period in their first year.

In addition to the base salary, workers receive an additional €1.26 gross per hour worked in the cold.

• Starting Wage: €14.99 gross per hour.
• After 1 Month: €15.20 gross per hour.
• After 6 Months: €15.44 gross per hour.
• After 1 Year: €16.22 gross per hour.

Allowances and bonuses:

Overtime Bonus (+25%): Automatically applied to any hours worked beyond 45 hours per week or more than 10 hours in a single day.

Saturday Allowances:

• • Saturday until 12:00: 150% (50% extra allowance).
  • Saturday after 12:00: 200% (100% extra allowance; rare in practice).

Christmas Allowance: Up to 300% depending on the specific day worked and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Physical & Environmental Fitness: Fully comfortable and resilient working in extreme sub-zero freezer environments at temperatures between -23°C and -25°C.
• Flexibility & Availability: Highly flexible regarding working hours, willing to work approximately 40 to 50 hours per week during peak periods, available to work every other Saturday, and fully available during the Christmas holiday period in your first year.
• Work Ethic & Reliability: Motivated, dependable, and capable of performing physical order-picking tasks using a paper order list.
• Accommodation and Partner: Willing to share your room and accommodation with other tenants.
