As a MIG/MAG Welder & Assembler at PMC Staalbouw, you will be responsible for assembling and welding steel structures based on technical drawings.

Your main tasks include:

• Assembling steel profiles according to technical drawings
• Checking fitted components before welding
• Fully welding assemblies using MAG 135
• Welding mainly in the flat position (beams can be rotated with a crane for optimal welding positions)
• Ensuring all welds are clean, neat, and of high quality
• Working independently as a fabricator/assembler and welder

All welds are visually inspected, so quality and precision are essential. While maintaining a good working pace is important, PMC provides sufficient time for onboarding and training.

After two weeks of employment, welders who perform well will be required, in consultation with PMC, to obtain their MAG welding certification.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in assembling and welding steel structures
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
• Proven skills as a structural fabricator / bench fitter
• Ability to set up the welding machine independently
• During assessment at the test & training center, candidates must:
  • • • • • Demonstrate drawing-reading skills
  • Assemble a workpiece based on a technical drawing
  • Show both quality workmanship and efficient working speed
• Preferably in possession of valid welding certificates (or willing to obtain them if required)

Compensation & Benefits

• €600 net per week (40 hours) – for welders able to work from technical drawings
• Overtime: possible – approx. 6.5 hours per week
• Welding certificates can be obtained through the employer
