This is an all-round position perfect for someone eager to start on the production line and quickly advance into broader logistics roles.

Your Primary Role: Turntable Line (Packing Specialist)

You will begin in the production hall, focusing on the quality and preparation of packaged goods:

• Packing: Placing packaged vine tomato trays from the automated turntable into cardboard boxes.
• Stacking (Physically Demanding): Manually stacking the filled boxes (weighing 6–10 kg) onto pallets, often reaching heights of 1.70 to 2.00 meters.
• Preparation: Preparing packed pallets for immediate transport.

Note: The initial work on the turntable line is highly repetitive and physically demanding due to the constant lifting and stacking of weighted boxes. Experience shows this work is generally too physically heavy for female applicants.

Growth Plan

Vereijken Logistics actively seeks employees with potential for growth. Once you have mastered the turntable work and demonstrated reliability, your role will expand to include:

• Internal Transport: Using an EPT (Electric Pallet Truck) to move filled pallets to the transport hall.
• Material Supply: Supplying and removing materials (like empty boxes and pallets) to keep the line running smoothly.
• Labeling: Accurately labeling the filled crates.

The gross hourly wage for the role is €14.40 with the weekly workload being between 32 and 45 hours for full-time workers, Monday through Saturday. Employees work from 7:00 daily, with alternating evening shifts in the high season (from 5:00 to 00:00, 2 or 3 people per shift). Also, you cannot take holiday during the peak Christmas period (Weeks 50 until Week 2).

Job Requirements (The Must-Haves)

• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy, repetitive work involving lifting 6-10 kg boxes and stacking to 2-meter heights throughout the day.
• Commitment: High motivation and commitment to stay for a minimum period of 5 months.
• Driving License: A valid Driver’s License (Category B) is required (for both available candidates).
• Documentation: Mandatory to carry your ID card every day.
• Safety Footwear: Safety shoes are mandatory. You must bring your own or AB Werkt will provide them upon arrival.
• Prohibited: No jewelry is allowed. Employees must not be under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs at the start of or during working hours.
