We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our client, a company specializing in the production of high-quality metal components for luxury sailing yachts and motor yachts in Vollenhove, the Netherlands.

In this position, you will work with CNC lathes, machining stainless steel and aluminum components for the superyacht industry. The work involves both custom-made individual parts and small production series, requiring precision, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

We are specifically looking for a skilled CNC Turner who can independently set up, operate, and program CNC lathes, rather than someone with experience only in machine operation.

The company uses a Cazeneuve CNC lathe with a Cazeneuve-specific control system. Previous experience with Cazeneuve machines is not required. Candidates familiar with other CNC lathe brands and control systems are welcome, as training and guidance on the specific machine will be provided.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes.
• Machining stainless steel and aluminum components.
• Producing custom-made parts and small production series.
• Working with both large and small metal components.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Adjusting machine settings and CNC programs to achieve accurate results.
• Checking dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality of finished products.
• Performing additional machining and finishing operations when needed.
• Maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven professional experience as a CNC Turner – mandatory.
• Ability to independently set up and program CNC lathes – mandatory.
• Practical CNC turning experience, not only CNC machine operation.
• Experience with CNC turning machines and programming systems (any brand or control system).
• Experience machining stainless steel and aluminum.
• Good knowledge of CNC turning processes, machining techniques, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Ability to independently read and work from technical drawings.
• Experience producing individual parts and small series is an advantage.
• Accurate, independent, and quality-focused working attitude.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Own car or willingness to rent a car for transportation to work.
• Candidates should be able to clearly describe their years of CNC turning experience, machine brands and models used, CNC control systems, programming skills, materials worked with, and level of independence in machine setup and programming. An updated CV showing relevant employment history is mandatory.

Please note: Candidates with only CNC milling experience, or CNC operators without independent setup and programming skills, are not suitable for this position. Previous Cazeneuve experience is not necessary, but solid hands-on CNC turning experience is essential.
