Are you ready to work with real heavy-duty metalwork? At VDL Staalservice in Weert, you'll operate advanced press brakes (Darley and Bistronic) to bend steel plates up to 7 meters long with 800 tons of force. Your work will contribute to key components used in the construction, offshore, and heavy machinery industries.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Darley and Bistronic press brakes
• Read and interpret technical drawings to guide the bending process
• Work with Delem controls, either programming or basic operation
• Inspect measurements and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team

What You Bring

If you're a starter:

• Technical understanding and motivation to learn
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to follow internal training

If you're experienced:

• Proven experience in metal bending/forming
• Familiarity with large press brakes (up to 800 tons)
• Ability to work independently — from reading drawings to producing final product
• Knowledge of materials, bending radii, and plate thicknesses

  • €550 – €580 (entry-level)
  • €600 – €650 (experienced)
