Are you a skilled operator who isn't afraid of the cold? We are looking for motivated candidates to join our client in Oss, a leading player in temperature-controlled logistics, specializing in the storage and distribution of frozen meat products.

The Role

Working in a large-scale, multi-departmental cold warehouse, you will be responsible for the heart of the distribution chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving & Operation: Expertly maneuver EPT (Electric Pallet Trucks) or Reach Trucks.
• Order Picking: Collecting and preparing frozen meat orders for shipment.
• Loading/Unloading: Handling incoming and outgoing trucks efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring products are stored correctly in a high-density freezer environment.
• Safety & Testing: All candidates will undergo a short interview and a driving test upon arrival to ensure safety and skill levels.

The salary for the role(s) is as follows:

• EPT Operators: €16.45 per hour (Base €14.71 + 8.75% shift premium + €0.25 cold allowance + €0.20 ADV).
• Reach Truck Operators: €17.45 per hour (Base €15.63 + 8.75% shift premium + €0.25 cold allowance + €0.20 ADV).

There's also aditional travel reimbursment of €0.23/km (Max 50km = €15.50 per day). Work takes place in a tow-shift rotation (06:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 24:00). Candidates must be willing to work overtime during busy periods. Work is performed in a cold environment, including areas reaching -20°C. Proper thermal gear is provided.

Note: Interviews are scheduled quickly, and successful candidates can often start the same day or the day after.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience driving an EPT or Reach Truck.
• Attitude: A hardworking, "can-do" mentality is the most important factor for the team leaders.
• Accommodation: Willing to live in a shared room and share common area (kitchen, bathroom)
• Partner: Accept working in separate shifts and departments when applying with a friend or a partner
